WRH-1000
The SAK model WRH-1000 is a Watertight Raised Hatch designed for light or heavy-duty applications. These hatches are commonly installed for infrequent use and provide protection quickly. Two installation options are available the WRH-1000 BP for Bolt in Place and model WRH-1000 CP for a cast in place design. If a flush hatch design is needed see SAK model WFH-1100.
Sealing the WRH-1000 watertight raised hatch to its frame assembly is done by mechanical compression seals eliminating the need for power or air pumps.
The standard construction of the WRH-1000 is Steel with a paint finish. Powder Coat finish is optional. Optional 304 or 316 Stainless Steel design mill finish is also available. For projects with extremely corrosive applications, optional corrosive resistant Seals are available.
Unlike many traditional hatches the WRH-1000 does not rely on turning compression knobs that go through the hatch itself, the compression latches are located on one side eliminating the potential for leaking.
